Taking Global Responsibility:
How will you contribute?

Friday, January 9th, 2009, 10.00 - 17.00 hrs
Noordwijk, the Netherlands

All of us are invested in facing world problems:
Addressing the threat of global warming.
Curing widespread poverty and disease.
Coping with a darkening financial landscape, and more.

Given the enormity of these problems, how can you contribute to change? How can your enterprise make a difference—achieve a better balance between people, planet, and profits?

The Meet the World ’09 conference shows you how to become more involved—how you and your colleagues can take global responsibility and effect greater change. Whether you’re an intern, a manager, a professional, or company leader, we’ll help you find practical ways to contribute.

You’ll interact with leaders from the spheres of politics, science, health, business, and economics. Meet the World ’09 experts will conduct small, focused workshops, creating the context to engage in the global-responsibility dialogue.

At the Meet the World ’09 Action Forum, you’ll find people active in key global initiatives, from conserving the environment to eradicating world hunger. These leaders are role models for how to do business in a profitable yet sustainable way. The Action Forum is the chance learn more about—and commit to—your cause. You’ll leave the conference knowing concretely how you and your company can contribute to change.

Meet the World is the annual conference on enlightened leadership presented by de Baak.
